My Capricorn Venus consistently steers me toward formal business wear, and I’m not mad about it. My blazer collection might be out of control, and I’ve lost count of how many crisp white dress shirts I own. One thing I hadn’t managed to thrift and get my hands on was a well-fitting men’s French cuff shirt.
But finally, the thrift gods smiled down on me. After months of hunting, here is the look! I love the oversized look of the cuffs folded over my blazer jacket, paired with vintage Ralph Lauren cufflinks. The ensemble needed a more business-like twist, so I added a gray vest to complete the look.
My favorite part of this look is the pop of red from my bag and pocket square. Elevated business looks are my go-to, but a pop of color in a monochrome outfit is my favorite way to add a little spice and personality to an otherwise semi-boring outfit.
I completed the bottom half of the look with basic black tights (available on my Amazon storefront here) and paired them with faux leather shorts I’ve probably owned for a decade. The shoes are from Target, the socks were a gift, and my glasses are from Nasty Gal.
The blazer, French cuff shirt, vest, bag, pocket square, and pin were all thrifted.
